The project
Tamkeen Initiative is a project that aims to develop the entrepreneurial spirit and social innovation in Moroccan high schools. During their first year, students are invited to participate in this program, which also involves administrators, teachers and local associations. The initiative allows everyone to follow training modules and coaching sessions according to the projects they are interested in. This work leads them to develop many skills, such as creativity, innovation, problem solving, efficient communication, leadership, etc.
The Foundation's support
As a partner of MCISE, Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation contributed to the funding of Tamkeen Initiative program during the year 2019-2020.
This support targeted 4,200 students to develop 140 projects in their schools. The program was also able to train 85 members of the administrative staff and teachers in high schools in 10 localities in the Kingdom. Finally, a national network of associations with the Tamkeen Initiative label was created, while some twenty new organisations were able to join the project.
