La Fondation Abdelkader Bensalah oriente sa démarche en faveur de l’innovation sociale. Elle accompagne ainsi de nombreux projets qui ont un impact social, tangible et durable pour les communautés et les territoires. Ses programmes concernent notamment l’éducation, la santé, l’inclusion socioéconomique, la culture et l’environnement, afin de favoriser l’accès à des conditions de vie décentes et permettre à chacun de réaliser son plein potentiel.
En ce sens, la Fondation Abdelkader Bensalah inscrit ses interventions dans le cadre des Objectifs du Développement Durable, adoptés en 2015 par l’ensemble des États Membres de l’Organisation des Nations Unies au sein du Programme du Développement Durable à l’horizon 2030.
Ces objectifs proposent la marche à suivre pour parvenir à un avenir meilleur et plus durable pour tous. Ils répondent aux défis mondiaux auxquels nous sommes confrontés, notamment ceux liés à la pauvreté, aux inégalités, au climat, à la dégradation de l’environnement, à la prospérité, à la paix et à la justice.
Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation focuses its approach on social innovation. It supports numerous projects that have a tangible and sustainable social impact on communities and territories. Its programs focus on education, health, socio-economic inclusion, culture and the environment, in order to promote access to decent living conditions and enable everyone to achieve their full potential.
In this regard, Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation places its interventions within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, adopted in 2015 by all the Member States of the United Nations within the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. These goals set out the path to a better and more sustainable future for all.
They respond to the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, peace and justice.
Education
Supporting projects that provide better access to quality education for all.
Through this axis, Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4, which consists in “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”.
To this end, the Foundation supports, for example, the Tamkeen Initiative project, which aims to develop the entrepreneurial spirit and social innovation in high schools, the ABC Maths Info association, which promotes mathematical and computer literacy among high school students, and the Chatibi Canteen, which has been set up in a primary school in Berkane.

Health
Supporting initiatives for better access to health care and promoting well-being for all, through innovative and sustainable projects.
With this commitment, Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation pursues Sustainable Development Goal 3, to “ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages”. Thus, the Foundation supports several projects, such as the one led by the association Opération Smile Morocco, which offers dental care to children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the city of Oujda, and the association SOS Autisme, which provides medical and educational care for people living with autism in Casablanca.

Socio-economic inclusion
Promoting socio-economic inclusion by encouraging new approaches to meet local challenges.
This ambition leads Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation to act within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 8, in order to “promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all”.
The Foundation follows this line of action through various initiatives such as Empow’Her, MAMIAM or DAM, in which women in vulnerable situations are supported in their entrepreneurial projects, notably through training, coaching and mentoring.
culture
Participate in the promotion of culture for all by supporting programs that aim to democratise access to cultural and artistic activities.
By integrating this axis of intervention, Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation considers, as does UNESCO, that “the safeguarding and promotion of culture is an end in itself, and at the same time it contributes directly to many of the Sustainable Development Goals”.
To give concrete expression to this commitment, the Foundation supports several cultural initiatives. Among them, Mazaya program, for example, trains school dropouts in music to facilitate their socio-professional integration. Similarly, the launch of a Gharnati music school in Oujda promotes artistic initiation for young people.
Environment
Acting in favour of environment and combating climate change by supporting the implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions.
Preserving the environment is part of Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation’s approach to Sustainable Development Goal 13, which calls for “taking urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts“.
