Since the creation of our Foundation, we have dedicated our commitment to the most disadvantaged, through social and societal actions, particularly in the rural world.
This approach was crowned by our recognition as a public utility association in 2016. In order to strengthen the impact of our commitments, we chose in 2018 to orient our approach towards social innovation.
Through this new positioning, we aim to create a strong network with actors in our ecosystem, in order to develop more effective and sustainable solutions that have a tangible impact on the beneficiaries for whom they are intended.

Our methodology
Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation accompanies the different actors of the social innovation ecosystem in Morocco, by providing them with support adapted to their needs. The foundation works with social innovators, regional organisations and support structures.
Dar Libtikar,
the house of innovation
We accompany the different actors of the social innovation ecosystem in Morocco, providing them with support adapted to their needs. We work with social innovators, regional organisations and support structures. In addition, the Foundation can also provide the financial and logistical resources necessary for them, to test their business models and develop solutions that generate social impact. Dar Libtikar offers a 12-month program, during which project leaders receive training, are mentored by expert practitioners and enrich their network.
#WeChange, a support to local actors supporting social innovation
With #WeChange, Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation mobilises the collective intelligence of social and societal development actors around a space for thinking and co-construction. Through this program, the Foundation aims to provide tools and educational materials to raise awareness, develop a common vision and strengthen synergies between the various components of the ecosystem.
Academy, a relevant insight for decision-makers
Thanks to Academy program, actors from the public and private sectors and civil society, have access to a rich and varied collection of documents that enables them to better understand the approaches and challenges of social innovation. This documentation, which includes the report on the state of social innovation in Morocco, published by our Foundation in 2020, several Moroccan case studies and a set of practical guides and manuals, will be regularly updated and enriched according to Moroccan and international publications.
With Academy, Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation intends to provide an academic perspective to lead development actors to opt for socially innovative solutions.
