On February 13 and 14, the Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation took part, as an institutional partner, in the International Conference organized by FSJES Aïn Chock – Hassan II University of Casablanca, in partnership with the LAREDGO and ECAF laboratories, on the theme: “Rethinking Public Policies and Management Practices through the Lens of Inclusion and Social Innovation.”
Through this participation, the Foundation reaffirms its belief that addressing the challenges of inclusion and community development in Morocco requires stronger dialogue between research, field action, and public decision-making. This convergence lies at the heart of its mission: to support dynamics capable of transforming knowledge into practical, sustainable solutions rooted in territorial realities.
A Commitment to Strengthening Dialogue Between Research and Action
By supporting this conference, the Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation contributed to enhancing a space for dialogue bringing together researchers, practitioners, and committed stakeholders around the issues of social innovation, inclusion, and public policy.
This partnership resulted in several concrete contributions. In particular, the Foundation supported the scientific promotion of the conference proceedings through its contribution to the publication of the proceedings in the form of a two-volume collective work, as well as a special indexed journal issue. It also contributed to promoting scientific excellence by awarding excellence prizes to the three best papers submitted. In total, three research teams were honored following an evaluation process conducted by a dedicated jury.
Beyond this support, the Foundation took part in academic and professional discussions by sharing its experience during the plenary session as well as during a masterclass dedicated to social innovation practices in Morocco.
Fostering More Relevant Responses to Social Challenges
For the Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation, today’s social challenges call for responses built on complementary perspectives and expertise. The intersection of scientific production, field experience, and reflection on public action constitutes a key lever for generating high-impact solutions.
The Foundation’s participation in this conference is therefore part of the continuity of its commitment to social innovation in Morocco, through supporting initiatives, stakeholders, and spaces that help better understand social transformations and respond to them in a structured manner.
An Edition Marked by the Quality of the Exchanges
The Foundation commends the quality of the work carried out by the organizing committee, the scientific committee, as well as all the researchers and speakers who contributed to the success of this edition.
It will continue to support bridges between academia, practitioners, and decision-makers, convinced that it is through this articulation that the most relevant, inclusive, and sustainable responses to the social challenges of our time can be built.
